Painful periods, altered length of menstrual cycle, breast tenderness, headaches, fatigue, anxiety and loss of libido are common sign that you have hormonal imbalances.

How hormone imbalances present in each individual is very different depending on what hormones are involved. It can be 1 or a combination of hormones that can be out of balance and depending on your symptom picture combined with pathology testing will decide on how your treatment will progress.

Conventional treatment is often based around some form of hormonal replacement therapy (e.g. contraceptive pill). Although these therapies mask symptoms and can sometimes be necessary, they don’t address the underlying causes of the hormonal disruptions and can have unwanted side effects.
