Alison has honed her passion for natural medicine and deepened her understanding of how to apply evidence-based medicine to have a meaningful impact on:
- Chronic constipation,
- Chronic diarrhoea,
- Parasites such as Blastocystis and Dientamoeba
Alison is extremely passionate about helping women with digestive issues. Having chronic constipation or diarrhoea can themselves be not just uncomfortable but interfere with life’s daily activities. When this is combined with having a family to look after and be part of, it can be a nightmare. There can be many factors causing digestive complaints so it is essential to have a practitioner that can help you identify the underlying cause so you can get to the bottom of your symptoms once and for all.
As a mum of 2 children (aged 3 and 1), Alison understands the challenges faced by parents in the busy modern world and provides practical and realistic support to ensure health of the whole family unit.
Sparked by her own experiences, Alison was initially inspired to become a naturopath through her own experiences, seeing such a positive impact on her own health. After a corporate career in IT, Alison completed extensive studies at Southern School of Natural Therapies achieving a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) whilst working part-time and raising a young family.
