How it works by distance
Consultations
The initial consultation runs the same 60 minutes by video as it does in the clinic room, with the same practitioners and the same deep history. A consultation link arrives before your appointment; you simply click it at the booked time.
Test kits
Where testing is clinically indicated, stool, urine, saliva and swab kits are posted to your home anywhere in Australia and sent directly to the laboratory. For blood pathology, the paperwork is arranged for a collection centre near you.
Results and follow-ups
Results are never just emailed as a report. They come back to an online results consultation where they are explained in plain language, and follow-up reviews (30 minutes) run by video at a spacing that follows how your child responds.
Plans and scripts
Your child's written plan, and any practitioner-only formulas it includes, are organised by distance and delivered to your door, with instructions in writing so nothing rests on memory.
Australia-wide, and across time zones
ReMed consults Australia-wide: the process is identical whether you are an hour up the highway or on the other side of the country. For families overseas, appointments are scheduled around your time zone: the diary runs on Melbourne time, and we find the overlap that works at your end rather than asking a child to be articulate at midnight. The technology requirements stay deliberately small: a phone, tablet or computer with a camera, a workable internet connection and a quiet corner.

Most functional test samples (stool, urine, saliva, cheek swab) are collected at home with a posted kit and sent directly to the lab. Where blood pathology is needed, we arrange the paperwork for a collection centre local to you.
A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone, a reasonable internet connection and a quiet spot. That is genuinely it. If the video drops mid-consultation, the appointment continues by phone so no time is lost.
Yes. Plenty of families do the first consultation in Bundoora and reviews online, or the reverse. Same practitioners, same records, same process, so you can switch whenever distance or school terms demand it.
