About Keonie

Keonie founded ReMed in 2007 and has spent a clinical career of more than 16 years working predominantly with children. Parents tend to reach her after the standard appointments have run out of road: a child with PANS or PANDAS, ADHD, autism, OCD or tics, a folder of reports, and still no explanation for why. Her work starts with that question and stays with it.

Her research on PANS, "N-Acetyl Cysteine and Curcumin in Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome", is published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology, and she is recognised as a leading practitioner in PANS and PANDAS. She has been invited to present internationally, including in Chicago, Melbourne and Kochi, India, and in 2026 wrote for Mamamia on ADHD and iron deficiency. In 2017 she received the NHAA Award for Notable Contributions to Naturopathy in Australia, followed by 2 BIMA Awards for Excellence in Practice in 2018.

Keonie is also a mother of 5 and grandmother of 2, and her own family includes lived experience with autism, ADHD and PANS. She has sat on both sides of the consult: as the clinician working through a complex case, and as the parent trying to hold a household together while searching for answers. That experience does not change the evidence she works from, but it does change how she listens.
