Privacy policy
This policy explains how ReMed The Natural Approach to Medicine Pty Ltd (trading as ReMed Kids Clinic, "ReMed", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Because we are a health practice, some of the information you share with us is health information, which the Privacy Act treats as sensitive information, and we treat it with matching care.

What we collect through this website
The contact form on this site collects: your full name, email address, phone number, suburb or postcode, your preferred date or time (if you give one), and anything you choose to write in the message field. The message field may include health information about your child if you choose to share it. You decide how much to include; the form works with as little as the required fields.
If you book an appointment through the online diary, your booking details are entered into the clinic's practice management system. Clinical records created in the course of care are managed under the clinic's record-keeping obligations and are separate from this website.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, answer your questions and arrange appointments. We do not use it for any unrelated purpose, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
How form submissions are delivered and stored
When you submit the contact form, your submission is delivered to the clinic by email using Resend, a transactional email service, and the website itself is run on a cloud hosting platform. This means your submission may be processed or stored on servers located outside Australia (including in the United States) by those providers. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers that protect the information they handle.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which links are clicked. These tools set cookies and collect device and usage information. The content you type into the contact form is not sent to analytics. You can limit or block cookies in your browser settings, and Google provides an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.
Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. Ever. We only disclose personal information to the service providers described above (email delivery, hosting, analytics, practice management), to other parties with your consent, or where the law requires or permits it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, as required by APP 11. No internet transmission is completely secure, so please only include in the message field what you are comfortable sending by web form; anything else can be discussed by phone or in an appointment.
Access and correction
Under APPs 12 and 13 you can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. To make a request, call the clinic on (03) 9431 0331 or write to us by post at 8/19 Enterprise Drive, Bundoora VIC 3083. We will verify your identity before releasing information.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first by phone or post using the details above and we will work through it with you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change, and the current version is always published on this page.
Questions about this policy are welcome: call (03) 9431 0331 or send an enquiry. See also our terms of use.
