Most naturopaths that want to go into clinical practice must go into their own business. But that can be daunting – inconsistency of income, establishing yourself in your new profession as well as needing business skills – it can be a major obstacle.
Following the successful ANS/ReMed internship in 2020, ReMed Natural Medicine Clinic has decided to offer an incredible 12-month clinic internship:
This role is a casual position 25-30 hours per week, with the view of an ongoing permanent part-time role with ReMed. The tasks include: naturopathic clinic shifts, clinical observations with Keonie Moore, follow-up patient administration and dispensary duties. In addition, there will be blocks of time allocated to learning all aspects of the business such as reception, marketing and management to allow for a well-rounded view of how to operate a successful clinic.
- Be employed 25-30 hours per week whilst you establish your client base
- Have exposure to all areas of a successful clinic
- Personal mentoring and support from established practitioner, Keonie Moore
- Ongoing support in professional development
- Group mentoring in business development
Criteria for this role:
- Must have a Bachelor of Health Science and have graduated in the last 2 years
- Have excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and a collaborative environment
- Exceptional time management skills
- Good attention to detail
- Previous experience with Cliniko and Simple Clinic is preferred
- Attendance to ReMed’s Naturopathic Graduate Bootcamp is advantageous
